Festive Makers
Wednesday 26th November 10:30am-1:00pm DMC 01
Join Emily Rhoden, our Technician at the MakerLab, for a festive workshop designed to spark inspiration and hands-on discovery. In this creative session, Emily will introduce you to the MakerLab’s exciting equipment in action, including the laser cutter, resin printer, and filament printer.
Participants will get the chance to decorate and customise their own festive creations, exploring the possibilities of digital making and innovation. Throughout the workshop, Emily will also lead small group tours of the lab, offering insight into how these technologies can support creative projects, product development, and even startup ideas.
Whether you're new to making or looking to explore the potential of tech-driven creativity, this workshop is a perfect way to celebrate the season and discover what’s possible.
The DMC Women's Group is a supportive group of women who have set their own agenda and goals and meet every 2 months to discuss the key issues women in these industries are facing, sharing knowledge about their industries, latest developments, successes and challenges. The group welcomes new members from women in other sectors who wish to learn more about the digital sector and the DMC Community.
Guests are invited to use the Co-Working space in DMC 02 before and after the event. (8:30-16:30).
